"Bad Note For A Heart" (Flying Nun) 7"

Hands up who's waiting for Straitjacket Fits to release a mediocre piece of vinyl. I, for one, am pretty confident that day will never come. One of the few bands around who seem to get better as they mature - in both vinyl and live formats. I just know their coming Australian tour will leave us adoring rock fans breathless and talkative. Bad Note For A Heart is a swaying, hypnotic piece of pure joy with a sombre vocal melody and a descending bass line which offsets everything in a quirky but chilling fashion. On the flip side is In Spite Of It All, which really is proof that the Straities don't have a typical B-side song in their repertoire.
